By accessing or using Timelined ("the Service"), operated by Timelined, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use Timelined.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not use another person's account or share your account credentials.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create on Timelined, including timelines, entries, and profile information. By posting content, you grant Timelined a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content as part of operating the Service.

You are solely responsible for your content. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable. Timelined reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Post spam, misinformation, or deliberately misleading content
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users

5. Intellectual Property

The Timelined name, logo, and all Service-related materials are owned by Timelined. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding without our prior written consent.

6. Advertising

Timelined may display advertising on the Service in the future. We will update our Privacy Policy if and when advertising is introduced.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at legal@timelined.net.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Timelined does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the platform. Use the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Timelined shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
